Holly Willoughby has questioned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s perception of the term “private life” after bombshell Netflix documentary.
Today (December 8), the first three episodes from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix documentary dropped onto the streaming platform, with millions of people around the world tuning in.
Just like us, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield tuned in prior to appearing on This Morning to ensure they could discuss the three bombshell episodes with their guests.

Chatting to a panel of experts, Holly touched on how the couple left the Royal Family in pursuit for a “private life”.
Questioning Meghan and Harry’s perception of the term “private life” following ‘Megxit’ and the new doc, Holly said: “For us, a private life means behind closed doors.
“Never speaking to the press. Just going about your business.”
Adding: “But what I got from the documentary was that public life, this Royal life, a private life was stepping away from sort of Royal duty.”
“But not private in the way that we see it and maybe that’s where the confusion comes,” she added.
Holly went on: “it’s the first time I understood ‘oh that’s what you mean by a private life’ it’s the opposite of public royal duties.”
This came on the same day that Meghan and Harry were plastered over the nation’s television screens as the first three out of six episodes were released.
In the documentary, the Duke and Duchess touch on their withdrawal from public life, as well as talking upon how they met via Instagram.
Harry and Meghan speak candidly about how they kept their relationship private until it was revealed by the media.
The couple also document the way in which they stepped away from Royal life and chose to have a “private life” in America instead.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
