Pete Davidson has finally hit back at Kanye West, mocking him as he teased the rapper about being “in bed with your wife”, Kim Kardashian.
Ye, 44, has been on a never-ending campaign against the SNL comedian since it was revealed that the 28-year-old was dating Kim, 41.
The father-of-four has regularly called out Pete – whom he refers to as “Skete” – and even depicted his dead body in a recent animated music video.
Pete, who does not have social media, texted Kim’s ex though in an attempt to diffuse the ongoing situation, with his friend Dave Sirus sharing the screenshots in a now-deleted tweet.
The text started with Pete telling Ye: “Yo it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down. It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this.
“Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f***ing lucky that she’s your kids’ mom.
“I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m doing being quiet. Grow the f*** up.”
Kanye replied noting Pete’s “profanity”, and asking: “Where are you right now?”
Funny-man Pete responded with a shirtless photo showing him giving a thumbs up, as he wrote: “In bed with your wife.”
Kanye said: “Happy to see you’re out the hospital and rehab.”
Pete told him: “Same here. It’s wonder what those places do when you get help. You should try it.”
Both he and Kanye suffer with different mental health problems, but Kanye fans have recently accused him of having stopped taking his medication, which he has not confirmed nor denied.
Pete’s texts continued: “I’m in LA for the day if you wanna stop being a little internet b**** boy and talk.
“You don’t scare me bro. Your actions are so p**** and embarrassing.
“It’s so sad to watch you ruin your legacy on the daily.”
Kanye then invited him to Sunday Service, but Pete declined, making it clear he wanted to hash out their issues “privately one on one, man to man”.
He went on: “What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life. Please handle these matters privately bro I beg you.”
But Kanye was adamant that if Pete wanted to see him, he should go to Sunday Service.
Pete hit back: “This isn’t public dude. I’m not here for pictures and press. Which is obviously all you care about.”
He added: “I wish you’d man up for once in your life.”
Showing he was not coming from a place of bad blood, Pete even said: “Let me help you man. I struggle with mental stuff too. It’s not an easy journey. You don’t have to feel this way anymore. There’s no shame in having a little help. You’ll be so happy and at peace.”
He went on: “You have no idea how nice I’ve been to you despite your actions towards me.”
Pete said that he had stopped Saturday Night Live from poking fun at the rapper “which they’ve wanted to do for months”.
He said he’s stopped other comedians from making jokes about him as he doesn’t “want the father of [his] girl’s kids to look bad”.
Pete finished: “I have your back even though you treat me like s*** because I want everything to be smooth.
“But if you continue to press me like you have for the past six months, I’m gonna stop being nice.”
Only time will tell if the men manage to smooth things over, but Pete was recently all smiles when he went Instagram official with Kim.
