Emmerdale fans believe they have rumbled who could potentially die from the horrific car crash after Mackenzie Boyd made a heartbreaking choice.
ITV fans will recall that the Scottish hunk and his two love interests Chloe Harris and Charity Dingle were involved in a brutal car crash on Tuesday night when a van crashing into them at full speed. Mack was able to escape the wreckage but realised his two lovers were still trapped in the car which was perched on the edge of a cliff.
Tension started to rise when the car started to slip away, leaving the hunk with a difficult decision to pick which person to save as they both reached their arms out to him. The episode ended with Mack picking one hand, with it being revealed on Wednesday (October 11) that he saved his estranged wife Charity as his fiancée Chloe fell down the cliff in the car.

During the heartbreaking episode, a terrified Charity and Mackenzie paced around the moors before they heard Reuben’s toy playing, only to find a bloodied Chloe in the car clutching her son’s rattle. Mackenzie held Chloe in his arms as she slipped in and out of consciousness while Charity helped to flag down the emergency helicopter who swiftly airlifted her to hospital.

While Chloe’s fate still hangs in the balance, fans are convinced that the auburn beauty will survive the crash, leaving the heartbreaking death on someone else’s shoulders. After watching the dramatic scenes play out, viewers flooded to the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their theories online.
One user predicted: “It wouldn’t be the first time a character has survived and then died due to internal injuries a day later.” another agreed: “He’ll [Mack] stumble or something and go over with the car, Both women will live and he will die.”
A third echoed: “I think best closure would be a twist and Mack dies of internal bleeding to put the whole sorry chapter to an end.” Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in with: “It has to be Mack!” however it remains to be seen if anyone will die from the terrible crash.

It comes after viewers predicted romance could be on the cards for Aaron Dingle and Mack following the devastating car crash. Although fans are still left in the dark as to which character will die from the crash, viewers are convinced they know where the storyline is going.
Many are convinced that Mack won’t end up pursuing Charity or Chloe in a huge new twist, instead eagle-eyed viewers believe that Mack could fall for Aaron now that he has returned to the village. Mack and Aaron had struck up a flirty relationship before Aaron left for Italy with his new boyfriend Marco, but the pair have now split.
Taking to Reddit, fans have shared their theories online, with one user penning: “The original plan was for Mack to be Aaron’s love interest. He was cheeky, a flirt, bisexual and a rogue… but they dropped the idea for some reason.

“Could he get back to being the fun-loving, trouser-dropping, ‘Oh officer, Aaron and I have just been having sex in that field’ Mack as he once was?” Someone else suggested this month’s Super Soap Week could provide a “hard reset” for the programme and end with Aaron and Mackenzie falling for one another.
They wrote: “My theory is that this week is essentially a hard reset to write Aaron back into the village. It is probably no coincidence that Aaron is back in the same week that the Chloe/ Mac/ Charity debacle is set to be resolved. Unlike the Lydia storyline, Mack and Aaron’s fates have, potentially, always been connected narratively.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to see who will die from the fallout of the devastating car crash.
