Emma Willis is set to be one of the coaches on the new series.
In a shock move, the show’s presenter replaced will.i.am in his big red chair for a brief stint during filming. And she even pressed the button for one of the acts so they could sail through to the next round.
Emma loved getting to be a coach for the first time. She said: “I had loads of fun!”
Emma wanted to be a coach because she was so impressed by the level of talent among the contestants. She said: “This series everyone who got up on stage was just incredible.

“With each person, it seemed like the talent just got better and better. That’s a testament to the show as you have to be good to take part, which makes it nearly impossible to whittle it down at the end.”
Emma enthused, “This series everyone who got up on stage was just incredible. With each person, it seemed like the talent just got better and better. That’s a testament to the show as you have to be good to take part, which makes it nearly impossible to whittle it down at the end.”
Emma has hosted The Voice since 2014 when she replaced Holly Willoughby. After all these years, she’s still enjoying it because she loves working with the coaches.
She said: “It feels lovely to be back. We are one big family so it’s nice to get going again. Everyone is really settled as we all know what we are doing.”
The news comes after ITV announced they were having a shake-up of the celebrity judges. While Olly Murs’ exit was confirmed earlier this year, it seems Anne-Marie will be following suit.
A source told The Sun: “Anne-Marie has loved being part of the show but producers want to give the series a refresh. ITV wants to ensure that the show pulls in teens, so they are always looking at who is hot in the music world.”
Long-term judges Will.i.am and Tom Jones are expected to return for the new series as mentors. It’s unconfirmed who is expected to replace the former two judges.
