Beverley Callard stuns fellow celebs as she talks Corrie on-set farting rule

Beverley Callard spilled the beans about some backstage secrets on the Coronation Street set as she chatted with her I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmates.

During a recap episode shown on ITV on Saturday night, Beverley was seen enjoying a gossip with some of the ladies – and the conversation turned to “trumping”.

Most of them admitted that they were worried about farting during the night – thanks to their diet of rice and beans – and Beverley revealed she really doesn’t have much wind.

Talking in the camp telegraph she said: “If I did it, I would die. I would cry with embarrassment. Truly, I just can’t stand someone else doing it, unless it’s by accident.”

She then revealed to her fellow celebs: “In Coronation Street, Charlie [Lawson] – who played my on-screen husband Jim – and I had a rule, no farting on the McDonald set.”

Victoria Derbyshire smiled and said: “Very good inside Corrie intel,” to which Beverley replied: “We had none of it.”

Giovanna Fletcher then asked her if anyone had crossed the line for that to have become a rule.

Beverley laughed and answered: “If they did I would probably have chinned them!”

Elsewhere on the show, Jordan North left viewers gobsmacked when he made a racy masturbation joke.

He was helping AJ Pritchard with his shower, as this year one person is required to pump the warm water for the other person.

After a moment, Jordan cheekily swapped hands and told AJ: “I should be using my left hand, that’s my usual pumping hand.”

However, former Strictly star AJ wasn’t overly impressed while Jordan muttered to himself: “Grow up, Jordan!”

Viewers were also rather annoyed when they realised that Saturday night’s edition of the ITV show was a recap episode.

Taking to Twitter fans vented their frustration and admitted they were turning off their televisions.

“This is rubbish. Saturday night and it’s a repeat!” one person tweeted, while another added: “I’m A Celeb viewers switching off when they realise tonight’s episode is just a recap show.”
