Charlotte Crosby was 'on verge of dying' as she sobs over ectopic pregnancy

Charlotte Crosby has revealed that she ‘could have died’ as a result of the devastating ectopic pregnancy she had in 2016.

The former Geordie Shore star, 30, broke down in tears as she made the shocking admission on MTV series’ spin-off show Geordie Shore: Their Story.

Charlotte suffered internal bleeding as a result of the devastating condition, which occurs when a fetus begins to develop outside of the womb.

Her health scare came after her split from the father of her baby and on-off boyfriend Gary Beadle.

The brave star told how she visited gynecologist at just the right time before her condition threatened her life.

She told: “The gynecologist said, ‘what’s happening to your body now is you’re having an ectopic pregnancy where the egg gets trapped in the fallopian tube and actually just starts to grow there until it can’t grow no more’.

“And I was literally on the verge of dying, if I’d left it any longer, I just wouldn’t be here.”

In another heartbreaking revelation she told how she bled for a week after her pregnancy.

She said as she fought back the tears: “My fallopian tube had split open and I’d been internally bleeding for the last week and then I got rushed into surgery.

“I came around from the operation and the gynecologist came in and told us that I had, had my right fallopian tube and ovary taken away. And straight away I just thought, ‘f**k I’m not gonna be able to have kids, like, this is awful.”

The brave star, who previously described 2016 as ‘the worst year’ of her life, also told how she battled depression after losing her baby and splitting up with Gary.
