Desperate Housewives babe Nicollette Sheridan turns 57 today – to mark her special day, we’re serving up some scorching memories from the archives.
The British-born actress began her career as a fashion model before turning the tides and taking to TV instead.
In 1984, she landed her first short-lived TV role, on the primetime soap opera Paper Dolls, but it wasn’t until two years later that she was awarded her breakthrough role.
The bombshell skyrocketed to fame as character Paige Matherson on the CBS drama Knots Landing and remained firmly in the role for a lengthy nine years.
In 2004, she became a Golden Globe-winning actress for her contribution to the spicy series Desperate Housewives, which also propelled her sex symbol status following a number of seriously raunchy scenes.
To this day, she continues to swoop up iconic roles and only last year finished filming for the Dynasty reboot in which she starred as the leading lady, Alexis Carrington.

Prompting temperatures to soar to new heights, she ditched her clothes in exchange for some seriously eye-popping underwear.
The red-hot episode saw her strip to skimpy baby pink lingerie as she prepared to bed Mike in hospital – with disastrous results.

With copious amounts of cleavage on display, her highlighted tresses had been swooped away from her face, styled in a high top bun.

Her stunning floor-length gown boasted fishtail detail and was cinched in nicely at her waist, fitting her slender proportions like a glove.
Opting for minimal makeup and accessories, Nicollette’s designer frock certainly stole the limelight at the star-studded bash.

Nicollette’s character Edie was a beloved antihero of the show until her shocking death in season five, which saw her die of an electric shock during a car accident.
