Elsa Raven dead: Titanic and Back To The Future actress dies aged 91

Titanic and Back To The Future actress Elsa Raven has died aged 91, it has been reported.

The actress’ death has been confirmed by her agent, David Shaul, reports Deadline.

She died on Tuesday in her Los Angeles home, however the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

The star was known for playing the role of Ida Strauss in Titanic, however scenes were largely cut, according to Fox News.

Elsa more notable played the role of an activist in Back To The Future, and was known as the “Clocktower lady” after urging main character Marty McFly to “save the clocktower.”

Ms Raven was born on September 21, 1929 and her real name was Elsa Rabinowitz.

Her career began in New York City when she starred in a stage play, and later appeared in Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” video.

She is survived by 15 nieces and nephews, as well as sister-in-law Lynne Rabinowitz.
