Emmerdale fans baffled as Dan Spencer makes 'miraculous' recovery

Emmerdale fans were left scratching their heads over Dan Spencer’s ‘miraculous’ recovery in Wednesday’s episode.

Earlier this year, fans saw Dan suffer a painful incident which left him in a wheelchair.

He had an allergic reaction from a wrap he had bought from the café that had been made by Brenda Walker.

As he struggled to breathe, he lost his balance and suffered a painful fall.

The character fractured his spine as a result and was left partially paralysed.

Tonight, Dan was walking with ease, and viewers found his recovery baffling.

One said: “When did Dan make a miraculous recovery? He was in a wheelchair the other week!”

Another wrote: “Dan’s very active for someone who was in a wheelchair not so long ago.”

“Sorry but Dan’s miraculous recovery is ridiculous. What a shambles of a storyline,” remarked a third.

A fourth questioned: “What happened to Dan’s crutches/ wheelchair?”

“Dan soon got back on his feet didn’t he,” typed a fifth.

Also on tonight’s Emmerdale, the Malone murder plot continued as Harriet Finch, Will Taylor, and Dawn Taylor attempted to cover up the DI’s death.

Yesterday’s instalment of the ITV soap saw Finch meet a lady named Jean in the graveyard, and she revealed she’s the daughter of someone who’s been buried there.

The vicar soon realised Jean’s father is in the same plot as Malone.

Jean told her she wants to exhume her dad’s body from the ground, and Harriet struggled to convince the new character to not to go through with it.

The trio realised they would have to dig up Malone’s body, and move it away from the graveyard.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV.
