I'm A Celebrity's Hollie Arnold 'devastated' as she's first star to exit castle

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! evictions began on Friday night, with viewers at home voting to save their favourite campmates.

But it seems Hollie Arnold wasn’t so popular with fans of the ITV show as they became the first celebrity to be evicted.

The 26-year-old parasport athlete looks gutted as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly said her name, and her campmates looked just as upset.

As she made her way out of the camp, Hollie held back tears as the rest of the celebs waved goodbye to her.

“I’m devastated,” she told Ant and Dec.

Hollie Arnold was the first person to be evicted from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

“I never really knew what to expect, I thought, ‘just go in there and enjoy every second of it’.

“I can’t thank them enough, I love them,” she said of her fellow celebs.

“I miss them already, I really, really do.”

Hollie admitted she was ‘devastated’ to have left the ITV show first

Asked by Ant and Dec if the show had lived up to her expectations, Hollie said: “Massively. I think you never know what to expect when you walk into a room of 11 other people.

“I feel like I’ve always found myself as being someone who goes out there and gets on with it and enjoy every single moment, and I really feel like I enjoyed every single moment – even the rice and beans,” she said.

The remaining 11 celebrities were so sad to see Hollie leave the camp

The campmates were shocked after they were told that one person would be booted off so early.

The group got very emotional during their last dinner as a set of 12, telling each other how much they love each other and thanking one another for the experience.

Ant and Dec referenced to the emotional moment during their chat with Hollie, and asked about the strong bond in camp.

Hollie said she enjoyed ‘every single minute’ of her time on the ITV show

“I love everybody in there and what their values are and their friendship and what they mean to me,” Hollie explained.

“I could pick up the phone to any one of them if I had a problem and I know they would answer, and I didn’t even want to say goodbye.”

She added: “I hope that our friendship and love are genuine and you can see it on TV.”

Hollie went on to say that she wants to see Jordan North win the show “because he’s so lovely”.
