Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has impressed BBC bosses and is being lined up for a presenting role by the broadcaster, it is claimed.
There have been rumours that Little could split after Jesy Nelson announced she was temporarily leaving the group due to “medical reasons”.
And now it is claimed Beeb bosses have been impressed by Jade, 27, and would be prepared to offer her a high profile presenter roles if the group part company.
She has reportedly wowed top bosses with her presenting skills on Little Mix’s talent show, The Search, as well as RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
A source has told The Sun: “The Beeb see her as a young Davina McCall and are trying to come up with some concepts for her now.

“She shone on The Search and really stood out when she was a guest on RuPaul.”
BBC producers believe that Jade has “everything to make a great presenter.”
The source said that that bosses reckon Jade finds it easy reading an autocue as she is being off script and spontaneous.

They added that Jade’s sense of humour has played a big part in TV producers wanting her on board.
This month the The Search ended as the group chose an act that would support them on tour next year.
Jade has been a guest judge on Drag Race in the past year and has impressed those watching.

Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock want to go solo when their existing contract ends, according to reports.
Jesy, 29, also plan to launch a solo career when she is feeling better.
The insider added the girls are trying to emulate Take That, where each member has worked on their own projects before the group reforms again.
They also claimed there is no ‘bad blood’ between the group and they are all supportive of each other’s wishes to go solo.
Jesy told earlier this week she is taking an extended time off from Little Mix.
A rep for Little Mix said: “Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons.
“We will not be issuing any further comment currently and ask media to please respect her privacy at this time.”
