Love Island mass exit as six contestants dumped from villa

It all kicked off on tonight’s Love Island as six singletons waved goodbye to the villa and packed their backs for their return flight home.

Following the tense Casa Amor stint, which saw the boys kick back in a neighbouring bolthole, the two groups were reunited, but not every couple decided to recouple with each other.

After failing to couple up with anyone, contestants Jade Affleck, Jamie McCann, Biggs Chris, Alexi Eraclides, Josh Kempton and George Day were dumped from the island.

There were many plots twist on Thursday’s episode as Callum Jones decided to ditch Shaughna Phillips in favour of newbie Molly Smith.

Shaughna and Callum were firm favourites, having coupled up on day one, however, their romantic rendezvous came to a dramatic halt when he strolled back in with the pretty blonde.

Meanwhile, the democratic service officer had decided to stay loyal to her beau, and she soon broke down in tears having realised their blossoming romance was no more.

Another couple, Nas Majeed and Demi Jones, also hit the skids as the sports science graduate decided to bring back Eva Zapico to the main villa.

Elsewhere, this year’s lothario Mike Boateng returned with Priscilla Anyabu while Jess Gale ditched the former police officer for Ched Uzor.

Rebecca Gormley, who was single going into Casa Amor, decided on Jordan Waobikeze after the pair locked lips and numerous times.

Despite a number of couples breaking apart, two pairs remained strong.

Luke T stayed with Siannese while Finn came back with no one and remained loyal to Paige Turley.

What an episode…

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
