Maisie Smith could 'earn millions from brand deals' if she quits EastEnders

EastEnders bombshell Maisie Smith is estimated to earn millions after she has reportedly been flooded with huge brand deals.

Maisie, 19, recently missed out on taking home the prestigious Glitter Ball Trophy following her showstopping performances on Strictly Come Dancing.

However, the actress is on track to become an even bigger name should she decide to leave the BBC One soap from which she found fame.

Sources claim that brands had offered huge sums to Maisie to front their company but she is unable to accept any business deals due to her BBC contract, reports The Sun.

Speaking to the publication, an insider said that her recent success on Strictly has opened more doors for the ambitious teen.

“She’s happy on EastEnders but is aware of the lucrative offers, including a £50,000 offer from a make-up brand,” they said.

The source added: “Maisie could be a millionaire in two years if she walked away from EastEnders.”

However, it is believed that Maisie will stay on Albert Square until at least the end of 2021.

The publication claims that Maisie receives a five-figure salary from the BBC for her role as Tiffany Butcher, who she has portrayed for the last 12 years.

Maisie first burst onto Albert Square in 2008 before taking an extended hiatus from the soap between 2014 and 2016.

She later made a full return in 2018 and has taken on storylines that gripped the nation as she become involved with a violent drug gang.

The actress recently opened up about Strictly boosting her confidence after being thrown into the “deep end”.

“I have been thrown into the deep end, so in a way it has helped me with confidence because on this show, it goes so quick.

“You just have to go out there and do it and it has pushed me just to get over it and I try and feel happier with myself.

“It’s only been eight weeks and I already feel better about myself and I didn’t expect that to ever happen.”

Daily Star has approached Maisie Smith’s representative for comment.
