Paul Hollywood's ex claims star 'didn't bake' and preferred 'cheap sliced bread'

Paul Hollywood ‘s ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam has claimed the Great British Bake Off judge “didn’t bake” at home during their two-year relationship.

GBBO star Paul is a professional chef and has served as head baker at a number of hotels around Britain and across the globe, including the restaurant at the Dorchester.

The 25-year-old made the claim during an Instagram question and answer session, in which she invited her 45,200 followers to ask her anything.

One follower asked Summer: “Could you bake before you met Mr Bake Off himself?”

To which she replied: “He didn’t bake – he liked his cheap sliced bread!”

Another asked the beauty: “Did you ever get nervous cooking for Paul as he’s a chef?”

Summer responded: “Lol. Firstly, he isn’t a chef. And secondly no not really, he’d just eat Rice Krispies most evenings, so I’d cook for myself.”

She then added the hashtag “that’s if he wasn’t at the pub”.

Daily Star Online has contacted a representative for Paul Hollywood for comment.

Previously, the star said during another Q&A: “He only ever baked one loaf of bread and my dog Bear ate it, and was constipated for a week.”

Summer became somewhat of an Instagram influencer after her split from Paul, however she could soon be a television star of her own making.

It is reported that she has joined the cast of MTV’s upcoming show Ex In The City – a UK version of Ex On The Beach due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions.

She has dropped hints about “the show” on Instagram, however is yet to name it, saying she’s not allowed to talk about details.

Summer will star alongside TOWIE’s Liam “Gatsby” Blackwell, according to Mail Online, after they had a secret romance following her split from Paul.

A source told the publication: “Summer is really excited to film her first TV show, she’s had a constant stream of reality TV offers since rising to fame and now she’s finally ready to show people the real her.”

Summer and Paul, 54, started dating in November 2017 not long after he announced his split from his long-term wife Alex.

However the couple split up in August 2019.

Paul and Alex met in Cyprus, while he was working as the head baker of a five-star hotel and she was a diving instructor.

They split up in 2013 before getting back together until 2017.
