Abbey Clancy ‘drops pubic hair bombshell’ about Peter Crouch’s new beard

Abbey Clancy didn’t hold back when asked about her husband Peter Crouch’s lockdown beard on his BBC 5 Live podcast.

The former Liverpool striker, like many, has been letting his hair grow during the countrywide coronavirus lockdown.

And it was the topic of conversation during a recent episode of That Peter Crouch podcast.

After an unexpected appearance from Abbey, co-host and journalist Tom Fordyce asked her: “Crouchy’s beard has been fascinating me and Chris.”

Before she can offer her thoughts, fellow host Chris Stark adds: “It’s quite like 80s pubes isn’t it?”

This seems to spark a thought in Crouch’s model wife, who says: “I’d say your beard is a lot more wiry than the pubic zone.”

The comment sends the podcast hosts into hysterics – apart from the footballer himself of course.

“Abs is just going to put the dog away while she’s dropped the pube bombshell, bare with,” he says.

“Why did we let her in this?”

It wasn’t the only eye-opening revelation on the podcast, which was aired on Tuesday.

They also explained how the pair have done some “fireman roleplay” in the past, with Crouchy “making Abbey” put the entire fireman outfit on him.

It comes after Crouch pranked his wife by pretending to get a tattoo in a previous episode from his podcast.

Abbey was so furious she told him “don’t come home” if it was still on his arm.

The popular podcast is usually filmed in a pub with Crouch, Chris and Tom.

But, after the coronavirus lockdown, the trio started recording from their own homes and have called the new season “WFH” (work from home).
