Angelina Jolie secretly visited by Brad Pitt's mum and relatives despite divorce

Angelina Jolie and her six children recently spent time with Brad Pitt’s mum Jane and their cousin, Sydney Pitt.

It was recently claimed that Jane had not seen her grandchildren from Brad, 56, and Angelina’s marriage in four years as the ex-lovers battle a bitter divorce.

Now, it is believed that Angelina, 45, has spent time with her former mother-in-law and niece at her Los Feliz, Los Angeles home last week.

Sources claim that Jane Pitt, 80, and Sydney, 24, visited the Jolie residence for lunch.

Speaking to Mirror Online, an insider said that an invitation had been sent to the Pitt family several weeks ago.

They said: “Angelina values [Brad’s] family, and has never refused a visit.”

Despite claims that the Pitt family hadn’t seen Brangelina’s kids since 2016, the source slammed these suggestions and added that Angelina had penned a letter to her husbands family before filing for divorce.

The letter is believed to have said that her “home is always open” for the Pitt family to visit.

Sydney took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to document her trip to Hollywood where she spent time with Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12, at Angelina’s home.

Brad and Angelina announced their separation in September 2016, before the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil actress filed for divorce on September 19, claiming irreconcilable differences.

The pair were granted single status by a court on April 12, 2019.

However, a source close to Brad recently said Angelina had gone “way too far” with their divorce, which has been ongoing for four years.

Speaking to US Weekly, an insider said: “He’s left with no other option but to dig in and fight back – hard.”

Daily Star Online has approached representatives for both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for comment.
