Ben Shephard has confirmed when he’ll return to Good Morning Britain.
The 45-year-old ITV presenter revealed yesterday that he was taking a break from the popular morning show to film the new series of Tipping Point.
Many thought he was leaving the show as Kate said it was Ben’s “last day” and a return date wasn’t given.
However, Ben has now cleared things up and announced that he’s coming back to host the show with Kate Garraway in September.
Ben shared a snap alongside Kate on Instagram, writing in the caption: “Ahh there’s nothing quite like working with @kategarraway have loved having her back in the studio – although still not sure about her “a warm Shephard oozing all over you”

“Thank you for all your messages… just off to catch up with series 11 of @itvtippingpoint which was put on hold because of Covid.
“Anyway will be back with Kate in the GMB studio in September for more of the same!!”
On Wednesday’s GMB, Kate said that it was Ben’s “last day” as he was taking a break.
She said: “This is Ben’s last day, you are going to have a bit of time off.”

Ben explained he would be filming Tipping Point, which has been on hiatus since the beginning of lockdown.
He explained: “Yes but it’s no time off.
“Tipping Point is back at it. The set has had to change [due to Covid].
“I am not going to be here but I am not going on a holiday.

I am going to be working but not in the studio.”
Taking a playful dig at her longterm pal, Kate joked: “He calls it working but nobody thinks it is working.
“Just asking a few questions and loading a machine and giving away someone else’s money.”
