Carol Vorderman sparks I'm A Celeb rumours as she's seen filming in Wales

Carol Vorderman has been spotted filming in her hometown in North Wales.

The TV presenter, 59, returned to her roots in Prestatyn on Wednesday.

She has already competed on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2016, but that doesn’t rule her out of the ITV competition this year.

However, she made an appearance back home to film a brand new BBC Wales series.

Locals saw the star filming at her former home on Palmeira Gardens, where she once lived with her single mum Edwina and siblings Anton and Trixie.

They lived in the ground floor flat, which was originally owned by her great-grandfather for 10 years.

The new three-episode series, set to air next year, will feature Carol’s experiences growing up as a youngster.

It’s set to delve into the history and “culture of the time” in the sixties.

She told Clwyd News: “It’s good to be back to be honest.”

Filming continued yesterday, with Carol confirming the news on Twitter to her fans.

The brand new BBC production comes to Wales as ITV prepare to film the 20th series of I’m A Celeb.

It will broadcast from Gwrych Castle in Abergele.

This year’s line-up is set to feature some of the biggest names in showbiz.

Carol’s return to her hometown for the documentary also sparked speculation she will participate in the show.

She’s already made an appearance on the 2016 series

She also tweeted about her love for being back home this morning.

“Happy Friday…..can’t stop smiling up here In North Wales….by hell but it’s beautiful.”

Could this mean Carol will follow in Katie Price’s footsteps and make her second appearance on I’m A Celeb later this year?
