Coronation Street fans convinced Carla predicted Yasmeen would stab evil Geoff

Coronation Street viewers are convinced Carla Connor predicted Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) would turn “killer” in the Rovers Return, ahead of her stabbing Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew).

Yasmeen, who had suffered months of abuse at the hands of her evil husband, plunged a broken bottle into Geoff’s neck during last night’s explosive Corrie episode.

It came just minutes after her vile hubby had dragged her out of the pub in a red dress that Geoff had originally purchased for a prostitute.

While Yasmeen was in the pub, Carla, who was stood at the bar with Peter Barlow, said: “Killer dress, Yasmeen.”

Seemingly foreshadowing the fateful moment, viewers then saw Yasmeen turn “killer” back home at No.6, after Geoff admitted to sleeping with escorts.

One social networker tweeted: “Carla saying ‘KILLER dress Yasmeen’ we love a foreshadow.”

Another tweeted: “Killer dress, Yasmeen.’ Nice line from Carla…”

Yasmeen snapped on last night’s episode after Geoff cruelly picked up a knife and told her: “Maybe I should kill you – do the world a favour. Would anyone really notice if you were gone?”

Broken after months of abuse, Yasmeen then lunged at Geoff with the broken bottle.

After the fray, some Coronation Street viewers were convinced that Geoff would survive Yasmeen’s attack, and would exaggerate his injuries to frame his wife.

One wondered: “Yes Yasmeen! Although I doubt she really finished him off.”

A second agreed: “I hope Geoff isn’t dead and they find his videos and he gets locked up and everyone knows what he’s like.”

“I reckon he’ll survive and spin lots of nonsense about her and then they’ll find the cameras/footage,” added a third.

While a fourth chimed: “He best not be dead yet though! He must be found out and shamed and punished!!!!#Corrie.”

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm.
