EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy spills on how achieved lost three stone weight loss

EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has lost a staggering three stone over the years by making a simple lifestyle change.

The 37-year-old soap actress, who is well-known for playing the iconic role of Sonia Fowler on the BBC soap, has dropped jaws with her incredible transformation, revealing last year how she managed it.

After flaunting her incredible figure, she revealed she owed her transformation to a diet and exercise lifestyle change.

She made the changes to her fitness regime as she prepared to run the London Marathon in 2019.

Natalie took on the challenge in honour of her former EastEnders co-star, Barbara Windsor, who has Alzheimer’s.

Ross Kemp confirmed that Dame Barbara’s Alzheimer’s has worsened in lockdown.

He revealed that Dame Barbara Windsor’s husband Scott Mitchell is looking into alternative care, discussing his close friends during The One Show yesterday.

The mother-of-two finished the marathon in an incredible five hours and 27 minutes, explaining that the training in the run up to the race contributed to her fitness.

Posting on Twitter, Natalie said she ran 18 miles in just one day as preparation, while her training also benefited her diet.

Running can burn up to 600 to 800 calories per hour, which means the star’s intensive training routine is sure to have helped her shed the weight.

She told Heart’s Jenni Falconer: “I have learned how to eat and how to be comfortable with who I am… You get wiser as you get older and I just feel much more confident and comfortable.”

On yesterday’s Good Morning Britain, Max Branning actor Jake Wood revealed that the show are going to use CGI to film scenes.

The soap star explained: “It’s very clever… you’re not going to notice the difference as a viewer.

“Almost every shot has CGI in it.”
