GMB's Alex Beresford flustered as Love Island's Amy Hart flirts with him on show

Good Morning Britain ‘s Alex Beresford was blushing after Love Island babe Amy Hart flirted with him on the television show.

Friday marked the second day the 39-year-old weather reporter presented the show alongside Kate Garraway.

Kate was attempting to set weather reporter Alex and the Love Island star up in a steamy on air moment.

After presenter Alex followed the blonde bombshell back on Instagram, Kate revealed she had a special message from the reality star.

Amy had filmed a message for Alex, which saw her telling him: “Hi Alex, it’s only Aims, no I hear from the grape vine that Kate’s trying to set us up.

“Now I know you’re really busy after becoming a main anchor for the week on the nation’s favourite breakfast television programme, but I’m ready for the follow back whenever it comes darling.

“Speak to you soon.”

Alex was seemingly flustered as an excited Kate exclaimed: “Ooh she’s keen!”

She continued: “I feel like Cilla… I’m going to have to buy a hat this is really exciting.”

Alex chipped in jokingly: “This is all your fault.”

“I was looking at all the companies that have been registered at companies house yesterday and I saw ‘Kate’s dates’.”

Kate laughed as she said: “Kate’s dates? Everybody’s got to make a living on the side Alex. Everyone’s got to find some work somewhere. But Kate’s dates that could be me.”

Alex remarked: “It’s got a ring to it hasn’t it?”

Turning the conversation back to Amy, Kate said with a cheeky grin: “What do you think? Do you think maybe you might have a little slide into the dm’s later?

“I’m trying to get the lingo of the young people if you can tell.”

Alex sighed with a smirk on his face, as he said: “What time is it? It’s a bit early to slide in isn’t it?”

Kate said: “Is it? Is it a bit early.”

She then looked at the camera and said to the Love Island bombshell: “Amy, don’t worry, I’m working on it for you.”
