Jennifer Aniston slams Kanye West by urging fans not to vote for him in election

Jennifer Aniston has urged her fans to not vote for Kanye West in the US election.

Rapper Kanye, 43, is running in the election in November and is believed to have spent more than $3million (£2.3million) to get listed on ballots.

In an Instagram post, Friends star Jennifer pleaded with Americans against voting for the Stronger hitmaker, insisting “it’s not funny”.

The actress, 51, also revealed she is endorsing Joe Biden and explained her choice, alongside snaps of herself putting a voter slip in a post box.

She wrote: “#IVOTED for @joebiden and @kamalaharris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early. I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever.

“Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science… too many people have died.

“I urge you to really consider who is going to be most affected by this election if we stay on the track we’re on right now…

“Your daughters, the LGBTQ+ community, our Black brothers and sisters, the elderly with health conditions, and your future kids and grandkids (who will be tasked with saving a planet that our leadership refuses to believe is hurting).

“This whole thing isn’t about one candidate or one single issue, it’s about the future of this country and of the world. Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency.”

Jennifer then added: “PS – It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.”

Earlier this week the rapper released his first presidential campaign advert where he outlined what he would do for the US if he was president.

He claimed he would fulfill “America’s destiny” by encouraging prayer and “building stronger families”.

Kanye also suggested that his policies will focus on freedom of religion and building a stronger nation by encouraging stable family units.

He ended the video by saying: “I am Kanye West and I approve this message.”

Last month, Kanye left fans perplexed when he uploaded a video of someone urinating on a Grammy award.

Kayne took to his official Twitter account to share the bizarre clip with his 30.8million followers.

Sharing a video of what fans guessed was Kanye himself standing over a toilet bowl, the clip showed someone urinating into the bowl, which also contained the Grammy award.

Kanye left his followers concerned with the video, as the person in the footage took direct aim at the trophy while wearing a pair of Yeezy’s on his feet and standing in a white bathroom.

In the background of the clip, Kanye didn’t mute the sound, and mumbles of a conversation could be heard.

He wrote alongside the video: “Trust me… I WON’T STOP.”
