Kanye West shares hospital snaps after Kardashian family pull KUWTK

Kanye West took to Twitter in the midst of a social media storm shortly after Kim Kardashian West made a devastating announcement.

43-year-old Kanye shared a glimpse into his life as he revealed he was receiving an injection after “too much texting”.

Despite his wife Kim announcing that the hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians was coming to an end, Kanye ensured that all attention would be back on him.

The Bound 2 rapper shared a snap of an x-ray showing his right hand being examined by a doctor.

Alongside the picture, Kanye tweeted: “Too much texting bro Had to get the cortisone mixed with a wittle sprinkle of lidocaine [sic].”

Lidocaine, an anaesthetic is used to numb a small area of the body.

He later went on to share a video clip which showed him receiving a cortisone injection in his hand.

The rapper also shared a video clip of his hand being injected

While sharing the footage, he penned: “Lidocaine worked instantly!!! The dexamethasone takes 24 to 48 hours Modern medicine,” with a skiing emoji.

Dexamethasone is an anti-inflammatory drug which is used to treat conditions such as allergic, rheumatic problems and asthma – although it is not clear why Kanye is taking the medication.

Earlier in the evening, it was confirmed that Keeping Up was coming to an end after 14 years.

Superstar Kim Kardashian West announced: “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.”

She added: “We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.

“Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.

“Our last season will air early next year in 2021.”
