Kerry Katona says daughter Molly showing coronavirus symptoms and thanks Dr Ranj

Kerry Katona has revealed her daughter Molly McFadden is showing coronavirus symptoms.

The reality star informed her Instagram following her eldest child, who she shares with ex-husband Brian McFadden, has been under the weather, but, didn’t reveal if the teen has been officially tested for Covid-19.

In the honest post, the 39-year-old admitted she has found it difficult, confessing it’s been a “really scary time” as she has struggled to find concise advice surrounding the life-threatening bug.

After being sent wrong information, Dr Ranj, who shares medical guidance on This Morning, later reached out to the former Atomic Kitten Member and shared a post titled: “Information for parents on kids and coronavirus,” which gives parents tips if their child is suffering from Covid-19 symptoms.

The 39-year-old previously spoke about the coronavirus on Loose Women, explaining she nearly suffered a panic attack after she thought she would be stranded in the Maldives with partner Ryan due to the pandemic, while her children were back in the UK.

Last month, the couple enjoyed a sun-soaked getaway to the island, but their luxury holiday ended with Kerry breaking down in tears at the idea she may not be able to travel back home to be with her brood Molly, Lilly-Sue, 17, Heidi, 13, Maxwell 11 and Dylan-Jorge, five.

Recalling the incident, the blonde beauty informed the Loose Women panelists she “just wanted to go home” despite the tropical backdrop.

“Honestly, I had a bit of a panic attack the last three days [about getting home], got really anxious,” Kerry said.

As much as I complain, you know what it’s like being a mum, the kids are driving me crazy, I want a bit of a break, the last three days I started getting really bad anxiety.

“We had a mix-up with the plane and I burst into tears and said “I just want to go home” and Ryan’s going, “Look where you are” and I’m going “I know, I just want to get home to the kids!”

“And within five minutes, they were doing my head in.”
