Lady GaGa Tops U.K. Albums Chart for Second Week

The ‘Rain On Me’ singer stays at the top spot across the pond with her latest studio installment ‘Chromatica’, holding off British indie rockers Sports Team.

AceShowbizLady GaGa‘s “Chromatica” is still the U.K.’s number one album after holding off a spirited challenge from British indie rockers Sports Team. “Chromatica” keeps the chart crown for a second week after topping Friday’s June 12, 2020 Official Charts Company rundown by just 600 chart sales.

Sports Team’s debut “Deep Down Happy” finished just behind in second spot after a week in which the Cambridge University educated band attempted to beat GaGa by drumming up sales on social media.

At three is U.S. rockers All Time Low‘s “Wake Up, Sunshine”, with Lewis Capaldi‘s “Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent” at four, and YouTuber turned rapper KSI‘s “Dissimulation” completing the top five.

There’s also no change at the top of the singles chart, with DaBaby and Roddy Ricch‘s “Rockstar” making it a fourth non-consecutive week and second week in a row at the summit. Lady GaGa and Ariana Grande‘s “Rain on Me” stays at two, with S1mba and DTG‘s “Rover” also a non-mover at three.

German DJ Topic is at four with his collaboration with Swedish singer A7S. Rounding out the top five is Powfu and Beabadoobee‘s “Death Bed”.
