Lisa Marie Presley pays tribute to 'beautiful' late son Benjamin Keough

Lisa Marie Presley has taken to social media to pen a touching tribute to her late son Benjamin Keough who tragically passed away earlier this summer.

Posting her official Instagram page on what would have been his 28th birthday, Lisa, 52, wrote: “My beautiful beautiful angel, I worshipped the ground you walked on, on this earth and now in Heaven.

“My heart and soul went with you.”

The heartbroken parent continued: “The depth of the pain is suffocating and bottomless without you every moment of every day.

“Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Boy. You were much to [sic] good for this world.”

Lisa Marie gut-wrenchingly asked Benjamin to ‘wait for her’ while she looks after her other children.

Lisa Marie has 31-year-old daughter Riley from her marriage with Danny Keough as well as 11-year-old twin daughters from her marriage with Michael Lockwood.

She added: “Please wait for me my love, and hold my hand while I stay to continue to protect and raise your little sisters and to be here for Riley.

“I know you would want that.”

In July this year Benjamin tragically look his own life at the family home in Calabasas.

Speaking shortly after the incident Lisa’s manager said: “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley.

“She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Lisa Marie previously spoke about how her son resembled his late grandfather Elvis Presley.

She said: “Ben does look so much like Elvis. He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage,

“Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there.

“Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny.”
