Lorraine Kelly red-faced as she makes awkward Prince Harry and Meghan blunder

Good Morning Britain presenter Lorraine Kelly was left in hysterics as she made an awkward blunder while talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

As she introduced the news story on the programme, she accidentally referred to them as Merry and Hagan, and burst into giggles.

She said: “There is more news on Merry and Hagan… Merry and Hagan? Who are they?

“I’m going to call them that from now on, it is affecting me, it really is,” as she giggled before composing herself.

The conversation quickly moved on as viewers took to social media to giggle about the faux pas.

Lorraine was left very red-faced as she accidentally got Meghan and Harry’s names mixed up

She was referring to the news story that singer Adele is reportedly helping the former Royal couple settle into life in LA.

The singer, 32, lives a few minutes away from Harry and Meghan in Beverly Hills, and has been stopping to say hello and give advice, according to the Mirror.

A source said: “”Adele’s just five minutes from Harry and Meghan and they’ve swapped notes on the area. Adele loves the neighbouhood.

“She’s also recommended her four-year-old son Angelo’s pre-school and discreet places to take Archie where they won’t be bombarded by fans.”

“They added: “All three of them get on so well. Meghan admires how Adele has managed to keep out of the spotlight despite being a huge star.

“And she is a big fan of her album 21, which she says helped her through her divorce from Trevor Engelson.”

The news comes after reports said that Harry was struggling to adjust to life in LA and was missing his friends in the UK.

Adele previously admitted to having a crush on Harry, saying in 2011 that she was “after him”.

She told Glamour magazine: “I know I said I wouldn’t go out with a ginger, but it’s Prince Harry.

“I’d be a real duchess then! I’d love a night out with him. He seems like a right laugh.”

Good Morning Britain with Lorraine continues at 9am tomorrow on ITV.
