Love Island's Danny Williams breaks ankle after TikTok dance goes horribly wrong

Love Island star Danny Williams has broken his ankle after a comical TikTok dance with his co-stars went disastrously wrong.

In a video shared by fellow former contestant Chris Taylor to TikTok yesterday, the pair are seen lining up with Jordan Hames.

All three are wearing heels and begin to strut their stuff towards the camera.

At first, it seems like they all achieve the tricky task with relative ease.

But the video is then “rewound” to show Danny falling to the ground.

The reality star was rushed to hospital and received morphine to take the pain away. He has since spoken out about the incident, managing to find the funny side to it all.

Danny commented on Chris’ video: “First TikTok with you lot and it’s cost me my ankle ffs is this what is gonna be like living with you?”

He joked in another comment: “Also I’m awfully suspicious as to how Jordan got that confident strutting in heels.”

The three former Love Islanders all live together alongside last year’s contestant Michael Griffiths.

Michael also posted a picture showing Danny fast asleep on the sofa, to which he replied: “The morphine must’ve knocked me clean out, don’t even remember falling asleep.”

After one concerned fan asked how Danny’s ankle was faring, he quickly replied: “I’ll let you know once the painkillers have worn off.

“They reckon with physio I’m looking at 6-8 months.”

The four lads all met on Love Island last summer, the year in which Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea were crowned winners.

Chris hinted at his plans to move in with his friends at last year’s TV Choice Awards.

“Yeah, I’ve been talking to a lot of the guys, I mean some of the guys are so busy it is very hard to get in touch with them, but most of the guys I’m still talking to,” he told Heatworld.

“I’m moving in with Jordan Hames and Michael Griffiths in a couple of weeks so I’ll have them near to me all of the time which will be cool.”

He continued: “We know some of the neighbours though, so I’ll pre-warn them and stick a note on the door and say ‘sorry.'”
