Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague scared after getting 'unexpected' biopsy results

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has told how she has been left terrified after getting her cancer biopsy test results back following surgery to remove a mole.

The influencer took to Instagram today to tell how she had a mole on her leg removed three months ago.

The 21-year old revealed she got the results back and that they were “not what she expected”.

She told how she’ll need more surgery and cannot reveal her full diagnosis until then, adding the situation has left her feeling “scared”.

The influencer wrote on her Instagram Story: “So about three weeks ago now I was advised that a mole I had on my leg needed removing. I had the procedure done within a few days.

“Last week, I received my results back and it’s safe to say they were not at all what I was expecting. I’ve been trying to process the information I received whilst being super busy with work and it’s not been easy.

“I’m still not able to give my full diagnosis until my further surgery has taken place and I’ve received those results, but for now I’m just trying to stay positive.

“I never thought at 21 something like this would happen to me and it’s very scary but all I know is that I absolutely need to share my story and what I’m going through to raise awareness of this situation….

“I’ll keep you all updated as much as I can, I’ve already received so many lovely messages from you guys and I appreciate it so much.”

The social media influencer, 21, told on her Instagram Story how she had to go to the hospital after experiencing a “tough week”.

Molly-Mae also showed off the scar on her calf, alongside a mini photo displaying the large mole.

It comes after she faced a backlash for slamming Italian food as “grim” after visiting Venice.

Molly later apologised for her comments about Italian food.
