Lucy Fallon confronted by Corrie co-star as she cuts him out of lockdown tribute

Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon was called out by her former co-star Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker on the soap, as he pointed out she had left him out of her emotional tribute to her friends and family.

Former Coronation Street cast member Lucy, 24, took to Instagram to post a message to her co-stars and loved ones as she shared her isolation struggles.

Amid the sweet messages from her nearest and dearest and fans, Colson, 21, claimed that Lucy had left him out of the tribute.

Seeing he hadn’t appeared in any of the photos, he wrote: “Didn’t make the cut. Ouch. It’s only been a few months.”

Sally Matthews, who plays Jenny Connor, chipped in: “Yeah, where are we???? Remember, I’m admin…”

Lucy quickly replied to Colson’s complaint, and proved all was well between them, saying: “I actually was waiting for this comment u little munchykin.”

She had captioned the snap: “Really missing my team today. I don’t want to complain at all because I know so many people are in much worse situations.

“And I’m so grateful to our NHS and all of our key workers who are keeping this country together right now.

“But I am missing them. And I know a lot of you will be missing people too!”

Commenting alongside a selection of six pictures of her loved ones, the telly star continued: “So I wanted to share these pics that I love.

“I promise to never ever take for granted any of the little things again.

“Can’t wait to hug them and kiss them again. Hopefully soon. Stay safe and stay home.”

Lucy has been staying in her home which she shared with boyfriend Tom Leech, who she has been dating for three years.

Her character Bethany Platt left the soap for London earlier this year, deciding to dump a grieving Dan Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and start again.

Corrie continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
