Mark Wright raves about being 'locked up' with Michelle Keegan

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are self-isolating together after spending a large portion of their five-year marriage living on separate continents as they worked on various television projects.

Former TOWIE star Mark, 33, spent a period of time in the United States working on various presenting projects while Michelle, 32, frequently jetted across the globe filming BBC drama Our Girl but they are now self-isolating in their Essex home.

Chatting to The Sun, Heart FM presenter Mark gushed about his wife whose latest outing as Army Medic Georgie Lane in Our Girl just hit BBC screens.

“After years of having a long-distance relationship, I’m now locked up with the girl of my dreams.

“We used to spend all our time on FaceTime calls and talking for hours on the phone in different time zones, but now we are together every minute of the day.”

He went on to say: “It’s nice to just sit together in the evening in front of the TV without having to worry about rushing off.

“That time is important as a couple – just being together.”

Opening up about life at home, the reality star went on to say: “We’ve been cooking together a lot and Michelle is a cracking chef.

“She has made a lot of delicious banana bread and lets me be her sous chef, so I help out.

“I really think this period is going to make everyone more grateful for the amazing friends and family they have.”

The pair have been embracing being together but Michelle was left shell-shocked during one of Mark’s Instagram live sessions with Olly Murs.

Turning the camera on Michelle who was sat on the bed wearing a dressing gown, Mark shared a little too much as Michelle exclaimed: “Er hello, legs open!”

Mark and Olly instantly burst into fits of laughter before Mark joked: “giving Mursy a morning surprise.”

The chiselled Essex lad added: “I would love to be a dad one day.

“I am a family man for sure – they are the centre of my world.”
