Melanie C confirms Spice Girl reunion discussed 'weekly' as band plan new tour

Sporty Spice has teased that Spice Girls fans may have the chance to see the hitmakers on tour again as plans are frequently discussed.

Melanie C claimed that the current coronavirus pandemic has prevented the Wannabe singers from putting a tour in concrete but also hinted at new music.

Chisholm, 46, hopes that bandmates Melanie Brown, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton will once again sign on the dotted line – something which Brown has always pushed for.

However, she is less convinced that Victoria Beckham will rejoin the group after she refused to take part in the triumphant Spice World 2019 tour.

Speaking to Musicfeeds.com.au, Melanie C said: “Touring is up in the air right now but that was my wish. I wanted to make the solo record but I wanted to carve out time for that and those shows,

“But getting four people to agree on times, places and duration is really, really hard. We stay in touch, the door and the dialogue is open,”

She went on to add: “We are discussing opportunities on a weekly basis, so I like to think that at some point we’ll be back out on the road.”

It’s believed that close to 700,000 saw the Spice Girls on their Spice World – 2019 Tour across 13 dates.

TMZ reported that each member made an estimated £2.2 million from each show.

Mel B has also revealed that she is more than happy to don her iconic leopard print suits to continue spreading Girl Power.

Sadly, Victoria opted not to return – instead focusing on her fashion empire.

Victoria recently hit headlines when it was revealed she had placed staff on furlough – using taxpayer cash to pay their wages, despite having an estimated fortune in excess of £335 million.
