Nadine Coyle teases Girls Aloud reunion after Cheryl reached out to bandmate

Nadine Coyle has spoken out about her friendship with her former Girls Aloud bandmates amid claims that they could be reuniting for their 20th anniversary.

Rumours of a feud between the five-piece have been circulating since they announced their hiatus in 2009.

The Sound Of The Underground hitmakers called it a day on their glittering ten-year career in 2013 after performing a final show at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.

However, Kimberley Walsh recently hinted that the group could be getting ready to don their showstopping outfits once more and perform Something New.

It’s been reported that Cheryl [Tweedy] and Nadine didn’t have the best of friendships but it appears as though that how been put to bed.

Chatting with OK! Nadine added: “Cheryl emailed me recently and I bumped into Kimberley a few weeks ago as well, which was lovely.”

“I haven’t seen Sarah or Nicola in a long time, but everything remains very cordial.”

The Go To Work songstress continued: “We’re not best mates, it’s just the way it’s always been. I’m very close to a lot of people from my time in the band, like our hair and make-up people and the dancers, but you gravitate towards the people that you have stuff in common with.”

While being on good terms with her old workmates, Nadine said that a reunion would “take a lot of work”.

“It’s always been really fun and we’ve always had a really good time but there would have to be a lot of organising to get us all back together. It would take a lot of work.”
