Stacey Solomon returns to social media to tell fans her sons are 'safe and well'

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has returned to social media to confirm that her boys are “safe and well” but admitted “there’s a lot going on at home”.

The 30-year-old former X Factor contestant worried her millions of fans yesterday when she revealed that she was “coming off” online platforms for “personal reasons”.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, mum of three Stacey penned: “We are all dressed and ready for the day.

“I’m going to come off social media today for personal reasons. I really hope you’re all ok.”

But today she reassured her followers that she was “grateful” her children her in good health during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Sharing a snap of the sunrise, Stacey explained: “Lots going on here at the moment but all of the boys are safe and well, which we are so grateful for.”

She added: “Today is a special day, it’s Leighton’s birthday, so we are going to celebrate the best we can and try to forget about what is happening in the world just for a moment.”

The television personality went on to share a sweet video of herself and youngest son Rex playing on a bed.

She also posted a snap of the “birthday corner” she had put together to celebrate Leighton’s social day.

Stacey, who is currently in a relationship with former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, is also mum to Zachary, 12 from a previous relationship.

The birthday boy appeared over the moon as he woke up to presents from his siblings.

Stacey – who also has son Zachary, 12, from a past relationship – captioned the image: “He’s finally up. They melt me. Happy birthday pickle we love you to the moon and stars and back again.”

Last week, the former I’m A Celeb champion confessed that she had only left the house three times in seven weeks because of her anxiety.

Stacey shared at the time that she was on her way to do a food shop, adding: “I don’t know why but I’ve really struggled to leave the house and do shop runs and stuff.

“I’ve only done it twice since this all began. I get really comfortable at home in my ‘safe place’ and then feel really anxious to leave.

“But every time I do I realise how important it is to get out (if you can) and do something that you normally sued to do and enjoy. So I’m going to do it today.”

Stacey and Joe have been entertaining the nation during coronavirus lockdown by sharing a series of hilarious videos.

The couple have been dating since 2016 and have become one of the nation’s favourite pairings ever since.
