Stephanie Davis considering tell-all book about Jeremy McConnell relationship

Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis is considering releasing her previously axed autobiography Sincere in a bid to help others who have been through similar dark times.

Steph, 27, famously had a very turbulent relationship with Jeremy McConnell after meeting him in the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2016.

In the months that followed the couple were constantly on and off with countless booze-filled rows being played out on social media.

In 2017, Jeremy was sentenced to time in prison after assaulting Steph. He spent 34 days behind bars and completed 200 hours of community service.

In 2018, Steph spoke frankly about checking into rehab for alcohol-related issues.

A source told Daily Star Online: “Steph axed the book in 2017 at the last minute as she felt it was going to create more negative headlines and go over old ground in terms of her relationship with Jeremy.

“Recently she’s thought about releasing it now she’s in a much more positive place in her life.

“She’s still undecided as she doesn’t want to disturb the peace she is in right now but at the same time she wants to do it for the fans and to help others.

“She knows her story would be show to people out there that you can come though dark times and still be standing.”

Speaking on a now-deleted Instagram live earlier this week, Steph urged fans to seek help and support if they feel like things are too much.

Keen to use her tough few years to help others, Steph said: “Feelings can’t kill you even though they feel like they can as at the time.

“Our heads trick ourselves into thinking that we can’t deal with it any longer.

“It is hard to fast forward the tape to think, hang on, it will get better, there will be a change.

“I got to that point in life where I am OK by myself and on my own… I don’t care what people think.”
