Stevie Nicks drops Harry Styles dating bombshell as she wishes he was older

Stevie Nicks has addressed her love for Harry Styles and how she wishes he was several years older.

The Fleetwood Mac icon and Harry have become the closest of friends in recent years after he grew up listening to her music.

Now Stevie, 72, has addressed the attraction between the pair in a candid chat with the Los Angeles Times.

Harry, 26, has openly spoken about his love for the Arizona-born legend when introducing her as she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Watermelon Sugar singer described Stevie as: “everything you have ever wanted in a lady, in a lover, in a friend.

“Stephanie Nicks, I love you, we all do and that is true, Stevie.”

He later went on to describe the For What It’s Worth songstress as a “God.”

Stevie who says she hasn’t been in love since the early 2000s was asked whether she would date the former One Direction actor if he was closer to her age.

While laughing, she said: “Well, that would be a good thing.”

Harry and Stevie have performed together on stage countless times with Stevie becoming his mentor during his solo career.

Addressing Harry’s career post-One Direction, Nicks said: “he made a choice to be a rock ‘n’ roll star and not a pop star.

“That was a risk for a guy from a boy band. That was like Fleetwood Mac doing ‘Tusk’ after ‘Rumours’ I was very proud of him.”

Stevie also went on to say that Harry is “definitely in the running,” to take a starring role in a miniseries she recently had commissioned about the Celtic goddess, Rhiannon.

She joked that she had already sold Harry for the show.

It was recently announced that Harry is to star alongside Lily James in a film adaptation of the LGBTQ+ novel, My Policeman.

The currently unnamed film will see Dunkirk actor Harry, 26, take the lead role of handsome policeman, Tom, while Lily, 31, will take the lead female role.

My Policeman is set in the 1950s when teacher Marion [Lily James] instantly falls in love with the policeman, who Harry will portray.

However, Harry’s character falls in love with Marion and museum worker, Patrick – despite homosexuality being illegal in the 50s.

As a result of his heartache, both Marion and Patrick are forced to share their lover.
