Sylvester Stallone and family dress up as Joe Exotic from Netflix's Tiger King

Sylvester Stallone and his family have got on board with the current hype around Netflix series Tiger King, by dressing up in costumes inspired by the cast members.

From Joe Exotic to Carole Baskin, Sylvester and his wife and children looked almost identical to the kooky big cat-loving characters.

Rather than taking on the persona of Tiger King’s main focus Joe Exotic, Sylvester, 73, dressed up as Jeff Lowe, who now runs Joe’s prison.

Sylvester’s glamorous wife Jennifer Flavin became Joe’s arch nemesis Carole Baskin, complete with a floaty pink dress, flower crown and a dog in a lion costume.

It was their daughter Scarlett Rose who took on the most recognisable role as Joe, not missing any details, such as his eyebrow ring, handlebar moustache and blonde mullet.

Her sister Sophia wore her blonde hair straight around her face and threw on some sunglasses and simple clothing to portray head tiger keeper Erik Cowie.

And Sistine covered herself in fake tattoos and added a drawn on beard to transform into Joe’s ex-husband John Finlay.

The family even acted out an argument between Joe, Carole and Jeff, which viewers of Tiger King will find hilarious.

Fans on Instagram, where the photos and video was posted, were loving their performances.

One of Sly’s 11.9million followers wrote: “So funny. You have a great family Sly!”

Another commented: “Icons! I love you all so much.”

And a third added: “OMG awesome.”

Since the documentary, with the full title of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, was added to Netflix fans have filled social media with their obsession with it.

It documents the goings on at Joe’s wild animal park, filled with exotic animals and big cats, though it quickly turned into a murder-for-hire plot.

Joe is currently serving 22 years in prison after being convicted in April 2019 of 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire.

All seven episodes of the true crime series are available to stream on Netflix
