Ulrika Jonsson fans concerned after she admits she felt 'lonely' after 'bad day'

Ulrika Jonsson ‘s fans were concerned after she took to Instagram to tell her followers that she felt “lonely for the first time in her life”.

The TV presenter, 53, shared a selfie in the dark today and described how she had been in a low mood after having an “intensely bad” day yesterday.

She wrote: “Started yesterday by cleaning my teeth with Nivea, so kinda knew what kinda day lay ahead.

“Intense. Intensely bad. And some good.

“Hygienist couldn’t use her machines so reverted to a pestle and mortar and I still managed a 10 min kip in her chair.

“Lots of pressure from deadlines. Felt a bit overwhelmed but soldiered on.
Weather grim. Grimmer than Grimsby (which is gorge btw).

“Actually felt lonely for the very first time in my entire life yesterday. Happy alone but never lonely.

“Saved by a phone call from a gobby friend who made me laugh, as always.”

Ulrika’s fan’s rushed to the comment section to offer the star encouragement and console her.

One wrote: “I get quite a lot of those days it’s. not easy but we are all hear for you you have all your furry friends unconditional love.”

Another said: “I had one of those days yesterday…if I lived nearer we could meet up and be lonely together.”

A third fan added: “Ulrika – just post on your page when you feel lonely – not sure you realise how many friends you have on here – if one reply makes you smile and warrants one of your hilarious, sharp comments then the day will improve.”
