Zara McDermott unleashes abs during workout after claiming she 'let herself go'

Love Island babe Zara McDermott knows how to command an audience with her incredible curves, and her latest post was no exception.

The 23-year-old oozed confidence as she stripped to figure-exposing activewear while heading to the gym for the very first time since coronavirus lockdown measures came into play.

Cranking temperatures up a few notches she captured her svelte proportions in the mirror of her hotel gym.

Wearing a flimsy sports bra and thigh-grazing shorts, she certainly demanded attention.

Looking a little flushed in the face, Zara had clearly put her body through its paces during her time spent in her happy place.

Getting up close and personal, Zara zoomed in on herself, allowing her washboard abs to take centre stage in the sultry image.

The Made In Chelsea star had swooped her long blonde tresses into a high ponytail as she got down to business.

Unsurprisingly, the flesh-flashing attire seemed to be a huge hit with fans, racking up over 6,000 likes on the digital app.

Zara has been an advocate for working out throughout the lockdown, letting fans know she couldn’t wait to get back to her usual routine in the gym.

In a bid to keep her fans up to date with her healthy eating and rigorous workout regimes she created a new Instagram account titled A Day With Zara.

She often uses this platform to document her daily meals and body progression as she strives to maintain her curves.

The TV starlet recently faced criticism on her fitness-inspired page after she told fans she had “let herself go” after kicking back and enjoying a trip to Marbella with her boyfriend Sam Thompson.

Posting a picture of her flat stomach, she wrote that she had “let herself go”, worrying her 107,000 followers who were keen to challenge her.

One person penned: “Surely you see why the words ‘I’ve let myself go’ wasn’t the best phrase to use though.”

To which Zara replied back: “Yes I see that and changed the caption.

“I personally saw it as a phrase that meant ‘I’ve eaten what I wanted’ and perhaps I had a different definition of the saying in my mind. My intention is never to upset anyone.”

Zara was forced to apologise and later changed her caption to say: “Me this morning. I’ve indulged in loads of amazing food this holiday and I’m excited to get home and get cooking again.”
