Alec Baldwin sparks fury as he poses for family snaps days after tragic shooting

Alec Baldwin has been slammed after his wife shared happy family Halloween pictures days after he shot dead Halyna Hutchins.

Hilaria Baldwin, 37, posted snaps and a video on Instagram of the couple and their six children in ghoulish costumes. She wrote: “Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least. Today, we rallied to give them a holiday.

“Last min costumes… a little hodge-podge… but they were so happy and that warmed my mama heart. Happy Halloween, from the Baldwinitos.”

Alec, 63, is seen smiling in a costume from Where the Wild Things Are. Other pics show Hilaria posing with Carmen, eight, and Maria Lucia Victoria, eight months, in matching black spiderweb-decorated dresses.

In a backlash, Leigh Daly tweeted: “Alec Baldwin did your wife actually post Halloween photos on Instagram. So inappropriate and so not a good look.”

And in a message to the actor on Twitter, Mary Wonder wrote: “Your wife posting Halloween pics and feeling sorry for herself is completely tone-deaf to this situation.”

On Monday, mum-of-one Hutchins’ final words emerged after she was accidentally shot by Baldwin as he rehearsed a scene for film Rust.

After being hit in the chest, the 42-year-old said: “That was no good. That was no good at all.”

Baldwin had been preparing for a scene with what he had been told was a “cold gun” without live rounds.

Hilaria has since spoken out about her husband’s shooting on the set of Rust, saying that she fears he will develop post-traumatic stress disorder due to the incident.

She said: Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD.”

Hilaria also said that she drove “an entire day” before she arrived in Vermont and was joined by Alec soon after.

Speaking of Alec’s involvement in the shooting, Hilaria said: “You look at what happens to soldiers and police officers when something like this happens, it’s traumatic. We just came up here for quiet.”
