Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong fumes 'presenter doesn’t care who he screws over'

Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong wasn’t holding back in her latest savage swipe at Ant, as she claimed the duo’s team “don’t care who they screw over”.

The comment came after presenting duo Ant and Dec scooped their history-making 20th Best Presenter National Television Award last week.

The duo beat other presenters including Holly Willoughby and Piers Morgan to the gong.

And, congratulating his pals on Instagram, PR manager Simon Jones posted a sweep snap of the two clutching their awards.

He wrote: “20 years! So so proud of my amazing friends @antanddec for winning Best TV Presenter at the #NTAs for the 20th year in a row!

“And proud to say I have been with them at the awards every year of those 20 wins. We’ve been on a brilliant journey so far and long may it continue.”

And though the photos garnered plenty of love from fans and fellow stars, including the likes of Amanda Holden and Myleene Klass, Lisa didn’t hold back in her own scathing response.

The makeup artist claimed Ant and Dec’s PR team “screw people over”.

She wrote: “And you don’t care who you screw over in the process… well done.”

But PR guru Simon wasn’t having any of it, as he instantly hit back: “Lisa, please don’t come on to my Instagram with your negativity and false accusations.

“It really is about time you moved on and got on with your life, and stopped unfairly blaming other people for your mistakes.”

It isn’t the only swipe Lisa has made at her ex this year, as Ant tied the knot with his new wife Anne-Marie Corbett earlier this year in a sweet Hampshire ceremony.

Lisa could be seen ‘liking’ a tweet on his wedding day which read: “@LisaAMakeup Terrible weather in Hampshire today.”

A source told OK! at the time of Ant’s nuptials: “Lisa is feeling relieved that the wedding is all over. There was a bit of a cloud over her head with the big build up.

“But she did think it seemed to be over the top – Lisa thought it was going to be a bit more low-key.

“She thought it was a bit insensitive for Ant to be punching the air. She thought it was a bit of a kick in the teeth and a bit unnecessary.”

In January, Lisa also liked a tweet which branded Ant “s****y and spineless” after their divorce was finalised.

Ant and Lisa were married for 12 years before announcing their split back in 2018, with Lisa going on to find her own love story with boyfriend James Green.
