BBC's Lisa Shaw told husband 'I'm tired' in final moments before tragic death

BBC presenter Lisa Shaw reportedly told her husband ‘I’m tired’ and gave him a final kiss before her heartbreaking death.

Lisa, who had worked for BBC Newcastle, was 44 when she sadly died in May just one week after getting her Covid jab.

She is said to have been suffering from “severe” headaches and a brain bleed before her tragic death.

Her final moments were spent in a high dependancy unit in hospital with her husband Gareth Eve by her side.

Gareth has now spoken out about the emotional last time he spoke to his late wife before she passed away.

BBC presenter Lisa Shaw told her husband ‘I’m tired’ before her tragic death earlier this year

He told BBC star Victoria Derbyshire: “I went to see her and she told me to go home and see our son because it was late.

“She said ‘I’m tired’. I gave her a kiss. And I never spoke to her again.”

On her death certificate, it is reported to state “complication of AstraZeneca Covid-19 virus vaccination” as one of the possible causes of her death.

The TV was excited to get her vaccine so that she could hug her “mam”

Lisa developed the symptoms just a week after her first Covid vaccination jab and fell seriously ill a few days later.

It is believed that the presenter did not have any underlying health problems.

Gareth went on to say that his wife had been excited to get her vaccination as she was looking forward to “give her mam a hug”.

Lisa’s husband has confirmed that he is “absolutely not an anti-vaxxer” but has suggested that an alternative jab should be given to AstraZeneca while there is s a “cloud over it”.

He said: “What the vaccine has done is unbelievable. The work these people have done to get the country back on its feet is outstanding.

People in the UK under the age of 40 are being offered an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine following reports of extremely rare blood clots on the brain coupled with low blood platelet count.
