Brian Harvey live-streams arrest as six police officers turn up at his home

Former East 17 star Brian Harvey live-streamed the moment he was arrested by police officers on suspicion of malicious communication at his home.

The 46-year-old singer filmed himself talking to the police as he refused to open the door or let them in for a period of time.

Six police officers urged him to come and talk to them as Brian asked them if they were going to “kill” him.

The police informed Brian he was being arrested on suspicion of malicious communication when he answered the door.

The singer was later taken to Leyton Police Station for questioning.

The former East 17 star was upset by the arrest, and asked the officers if they were at his home “under oath”.

Brian also repeatedly asked: “Why are you doing this to me?” before detailing his feelings to his fans on the social media platform.

“This is it, this is it everyone… this is it,” he told viewers on the live stream.

“They’re here again everyone, they’re here again… they’re here again,” he continued. “They’re here again everyone. They’re here.”

Brian then addressed the police again, as he requested them not to touch things.

“Listen you lot are freaking me out – what are you doing?” the Stay Another Day hitmaker demanded.

As one officer asked the singer to come out from behind his metal gate “for a chat,” Brian apparently became increasingly anxious.

“I’m having a chat but please don’t – Why do you want to break into my house? I’m being arrested but why’ve you got to come in my house?

“Listen, get away, get away I will come with you; you have my word but please move back from my house.

“No you’re not staying that close – you’re not coming in my house again. I will come with you, why are you doing this to me man?

“Please, I need your protection people. Look what’s happening to me, look how many people are here. What is this? Why are you doing this to me?”

Despite the police explaining why they were there and the allegation of malicious communication that had been made against him, the ex-pop star still refused to let them into his home.

“Malicious communication? Mate, are you lot going to kill me? You’re going to put me in prison and kill me for the queen. You are,” he said.

Due to the filming, police didn’t give Brian the details over who had made the allegation, but as the officers said they feared for the star’s safety, he eventually decided to go to the station with them.
