Carol Vorderman flaunts major fitness transformation after exercise overhaul

Carol Vorderman flaunted her famous figure as she shared her intense workout regime with her fans on Friday.

The former Countdown star, 60, revealed she has been keeping up with her weight sessions and daily walks in a candid video shared on her Instagram Story.

She donned a pair of leggings and a long-sleeved top, which highlighted her trim frame for her most recent exercise session.

Speaking to the camera, Carol said: “I’ve been doing lots of walking. I did 10 miles yesterday and lots of weights.”

The mathematician added: “Look, I’ve got biceps now,” as she flexed her muscles for her fans.

She continued: “You see that? It’s sort of coming.

“Anyway, I’m on my juicing but I can’t resist showing you this.

She said: “Coffee and butter. It’s amazing,” as she took a sip of the hot drink.

The former I’m A Celebrity contestant credited her exercises and her daily caffeine for keeping in shape.

She then panned the camera down towards her breakfast bar, displaying her washboard abs and tiny figure.

As well as completing an 11-mile walk, Carol went on to take part in a weight session with her personal trainer Gus.

“I’m so knackered,” Carol confessed after she finished her training.

“I did dead lifts, some kettle bells and I can’t move.”

Carol’s latest social media appearance comes after she claimed adding a spoonful of butter in her coffee has helped her intermittent fasting routine.

Sharing a clip on social media, Carol seemed excited to unveil the unusual diet tip to her followers.

Describing it as a “game changer’, the television star added that her weight has continued to drop off as a result.

“I tell you now I have never been less hungry in my life, because of a knob of butter in my coffee in the morning,” Carol said.

“So I’m doing this intermittent fasting thing. I’ve gone 20 hours without food, not felt a little bit hungry and I’m now having proper bacon – not the rubbish kind – and fresh, fresh, local eggs, everything local and I can’t wait.

She added: “And I’m dropping the weight. It’s brilliant this.”

While Carol has explained to followers that adding butter to her coffee helped to aid her weight loss journey, there isn’t sufficient research into the potential benefits and risks of the drink.

Last year, Carol explained on Twitter that she had started a routine of intermittent fasting as well as cold showers, as fans continued to compliment the star on her trim physique.
