Celebs Go Dating's Tom Read Wilson confirms saucy 'interaction' between 2 celebs

Celebs Go Dating wouldn’t be the same without the agency’s charming receptionist, Tom Read Wilson, who has ushered star clients through the door since the show’s inception.

Ahead of the launch of Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion, Tom, 34, touched on the drama to come, delving into a rumoured “interaction” between two stars on the show.

This year, the agency’s experts mentored the likes of Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry, Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann, and former Coronation Street actress Kimberly Hart Simpson.

The ladies were joined by Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard, Wayne Lineker, DJ Tom Zanetti and former Strictly star Karim Zeroual on the show.

Rumours have swirled regarding a potential romance between the star clientele – something Tom hinted he’d witnessed during filming.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the actor said: “I can’t possibly name names about it, but I will say that yes, there is a considerable suggestion in one quadrant of some celeb interaction.”

Insisting there was nothing too racy afoot, he added: “That sounds very saucy, doesn’t it! I didn’t mean that. But yes, something rather sparkly emerging yes.”

Leaving their usual London agency behind, the new series will see the celebs cocoon together in a sprawling Surrey mansion.

Filmed over the course of a month last September, the bubble meant Tom got to know the famous clients better than ever before.

Praising the personalities on the show, he said: “It sounds awfully saccharine to say this, but I really sincerely loved, loved, loved all of them. But one had a slightly unfair advantage – Karim.”

Having recently left a long-term relationship, Karim, 27, joined the agency in the hopes of finding the “girl of my dreams”.

Tom and Karim got to know one another on the set of Celebrity Best Home Cook – a brand-new BBC cooking competition which is set to air later this year.

Hinting Karim had no trouble winning over his dates on the show, Tom said: “He was so gregarious and warm, and it really is a small step from gregarious and warm to flirtatious and irresistible.

“It’s a hop really!”

Having spent the past five years witnessing the Celebs Go Dating experts at work, Tom has enlisted the help of romance guru Paul Carrick Brunson in tackling his own love life.

He said: “Paul has taken it upon himself, and I’m delighted, to try and find me a gentleman. Because he’s very sweet, he said to me, ‘I can’t understand why you’re so hopeless in that department, because you don’t seem to be’.

“I said to him, ‘well I think it’s just that I’m an acquired taste, and I’m a curiosity, which I don’t really mind’.”

Paul, who established his dating firm PCB Agency nearly 12 years ago, took it upon himself to matchmake on Tom’s behalf, turning to the internet for prospective suitors.

Tom explained: “He put out an Insta story not long ago because somebody happened to ask him, I think, if I’m single.

“He said, ‘yes, Tom is single and I’m fielding enquiries’. And I knew nothing about it!”
