Corrie fans in meltdown as Leanne becomes a 'CHIS' in Line of Duty crossover

Coronation Street fans were sent into a frenzy on Twitter as they saw Leanne Battersby become a police mole in the ultimate Line of Duty crossover.

Twisted Harvey had continued to order Leanne to sell drugs and he even made her pose as a nurse to ferry his substances around.

She reached breaking point and headed to the police, only for the officers to arrest her and decide to use her as a mole.

They told her she needed to go undercover and find more information out about Harvey and many fans compared the exciting scenes to Line of Duty.

Numerous fans remarked that Leanne was becoming a CHIS which is an acronym used in the BBC drama.
