Corrie spoilers see Johnny MS tragedy, Summer car accident and death confirmed

Coronation Street spoilers have promised a dramatic week ahead in Weatherfield, with romance brewing and a nail-biting hospital dash.

To kick things off, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) gets hit by a car after Todd Grimshaw’s (Gareth Pierce) latest scheme goes badly wrong, leaving Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) fearing for her life.

Elsewhere, Gail Platt (Helen Worth) suffers a terrible family trauma, leaving the cobbles for London after learning of the death of her dad.

On top of that, Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) gets some concerning news from the doctor, as he continues to battle MS behind bars.

Below are some of the most shocking Corrie spoilers of the week – don’t miss an episode.

Car crash horror

Poor Summer gets hit by an oncoming car in upcoming Corrie scenes

Paul is relieved when he’s handed a community order in court and heads out to celebrate the good news with Billy and Todd.

Meanwhile, Todd arranges for Will (Ben Hackett) to head to their flat to start smashing things up while they’re out.

Unfortunately, Summer walks in just as Will is tearing the place apart, and races out of the building in a panic, running into the path of an oncoming car.

Discovering Summer lying in the middle of the road, Billy is furious with Paul, blaming him for bringing Will into their lives.

Meanwhile, Todd slips off and hands Will £50, instructing him to disappear from their lives for good.

When Paul tells Todd that Will was behind the attack, he pretends to be horrified, but is secretly delighted to have thrown a wedge through their relationship.

Billy is seething with Paul, and Summer, having returned from the hospital, picks up on the tension in their relationship.

Paul is broken-hearted, only for Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) to encourage him to put Summer first and make sure he stays in her life.

He appears at the house with an electric piano, leaving Summer delighted – but will it be enough to win over Billy?

Romance brewing

Asha officially dumps Corey as Nina looks on in delight and relief

Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) appears in the cafe, hoping to win Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) back – only for her to cut ties with him completely.

Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) is delighted to witness the defiant dumping, and as they tidy the cafe, Asha opens up to her about the mistakes she made with Corey.

Suddenly, sparks fly between the pair, as their friendship starts to shift.

Later, Asha invites Nina to meet up in Victoria Park, with the pair deciding to make it a “date”.

Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) sees Asha dressed to the nines and assumes she’s meeting up with a boy, but is surprised to hear she’s heading on a date with Nina.

He later confides in Roy Cropper (David Neilson) about Asha and Nina’s relationship, only for the cafe-owner to point out he should be grateful that his daughter trusted him enough to confide in him.

When Asha brings Nina over to the house for tea, Dev makes a massive effort to make her feel welcome, ushering her into the house.

Is this the start of something special between Asha and Nina?

Guilty eviction

Fiz feels guilty as Tyrone tells Alina she needs to move out of the house

Alina Pop’s (Ruxandra Porojnicu) presence in the house leaves Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) unsettled, as he tells Dev he isn’t keen on having a stranger in his home.

Things get worse when Alina appears in the hallway in a skimpy towel, resulting in an awkward exchange with a flustered Tyrone.

Later, Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) dishes out some advice, telling Tyrone there are too many women in the house as it is.

Reluctantly, he tells Alina he has arranged with Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) to rent out the room above the salon, asking her to move out.

Fiz Brown (Jenny McAlpine) fumes at Tyrone, concerned for Alina’s feelings – has Tyrone spoilt their friendship?

Simon money woes

Simon starts to worry about money, trying to support his mum as a delivery biker

When Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) learns Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) is struggling to stay afloat with electricity payments, he chats to his friend Jacob in the chippy about his concerns.

Jacob lends him £60, and a delighted Simon goes home to tell Leanne he’s sorted a pre-paid electricity meter.

When Simon is late for work at the chippy and leaves his bike outside the shop, he is horrified to realise it’s been stolen.

Upset, he tells Jacob he’s at risk of losing his job without his bike, only for his new mate to lend him a swish new racer.

Unfortunately, when Simon appears at the chippy, hoping to deliver fast food for the evening, Jacob reveals he wants him to get involved in a different sort of delivery business.

Later, Leanne panics when Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) asks her about returning to work, and suddenly quits her job, leaving Simon as the main breadwinner.

The teen is stricken, as he juggles supporting his mum and his concerns over Jacob’s dodgy proposition.

Could Simon be about to get tangled up in a life of crime?
