Corrie viewers rejoice as evil Ray Crosby is finally caught out by Abi Franklin

Coronation Street viewers were were thrilled as Abi Franklin finally caught out evil Ray Crosby as she filmed evidence that proved he was guilty.

Abi filmed Ray and Susan discussing their crimes when she was spying on him in the hotel.

She proceeded to use the video to blackmail Ray into admitting he tried to rape Faye Windass.

When the character showed Ray the video, he remarked: “You’re quite the legal expert.”

She replied to the villain: “You’re quite the rapist”.

Fans went into meltdown on Twitter, thrilled that brave Abi had stood up to Ray once and for all.

One added: “Ray’s basically totally f***ed now right? Nice one Abi”.

While another wrote: “YES ABBIE!!!! YOU LEGEND! He’s quaking in his boots!”

“GO Abi”, added a third.

Will Ray finally get what he deserves? Viewers will have to wait and see.

Spoilers have recently revealed Debbie will try and cover her tracks after working alongside Ray for months.

Viewers will see Debbie swear that she didn’t know anything about the bribery or the assault on Faye, while Roy reveals that the Chairperson has been arrested on suspicion of bribery.

An emergency meeting of the planning committee is called, but Ray has done a disappearing act.

After finding out about Abi’s incriminating video, she collapses in shocking scenes.

As the details of Abi’s scary ordeal with Ray – set to air this week – come to light, Debbie does her best to distance herself.

Debbie begins to act suspiciously as she claims she had no idea what she was dealing with while working with Ray.

She also insists she did what she had to do in order to stop Ray.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays and Wednesdays 7.30pm and 8.30pm with an hour long episode at 7.30 on Fridays on ITV
