Dec Donnelly 'thrilled to be best man again' at Ant McPartlin's second wedding

Declan Donnelly was reportedly thrilled for his newly-engaged best pal Ant McParlin.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host Ant popped the question to girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett on Christmas Eve at home.

Dec, 45, was said to be one of the first to know about the engagement in his friend’s close circle of friends, writes the Mirror Online.

It’s also expected the presenter will be the best man at the wedding, according to The Sun.

Dec was best man at Ant’s wedding to Lisa Armstrong in 2006, the couple parted ways in 2018 after 11 years of arriage.

Ant and Dec have been life-long friends and co-stars, appearing on many programmes together as a dynamic duo.

They have been supportive of each other over the years.

Ant and Anne-Marie have been dating for almost three years and the presenter asked her to marry him in a romantic gesture at home.

A spokesman confirmed the engagement: “Ant and Amzie are delighted to announce their engagement.

“The proposal took place on Christmas Eve at home in a very romantic setting.”

It comes after Ant and make-up artist Lisa decided to end their relationship after 23 years together as a couple.

Lisa Armstrong broke her silence on Friday night since the news, but did not mention Ant McPartlin’s engagement on her return to Instagram.

Instead, she re-posted a positive review of her moisturiser from her new range of make-up.

Her message was sent out to her 91.2k followers on the platform.

Lisa was given five stars for her new product by the reviewer, who said they “loved” the moisturiser.
