EastEnders star Laila Morse is not frightened of stripping off on TV.
The actress – who is best known for playing Big Mo on the BBC soap – likes to go to nudist camps and even cooks and does a spot of gardening in her birthday suit.
Eyebrows were raised when it was revealed that 76-year-old Laila had signed up for ITV Christmas show Strictly The Real Full Monty.
She and fellow celebrities including Duncan James, Christine McGuinness and James and Ola Jordan will get their kit off in a special show to raise awareness about checking your body for signs of cancer.
However Laila has no problem with shedding her clothes and said: “I do like to take my clothes off when I’m on holiday.

“I was on a nudist beach in Lanzarote and had a smashing time. I don’t care if I look like a beached whale.
“It’s the one place where no one ever comes up to me and says, ‘Hello Mo!’ No one takes any notice cos they’ve all got no clothes on!” she added.
“Every woman should enjoy getting her kit off. We’re too hung up about having the perfect body. We should be proud of what we’ve got.”

The star went on to admit she enjoys a spot of cooking – and even gardening – in the buff.
It comes as Coleen Nolan is stepping back from her role as host on The Real Full Monty, after being part of every show since its launch back in 2017.
A spokesperson for ITV told The Sun: “Coleen’s other filming commitments this year clashed with the majority of The Real Full Monty so sadly she wasn’t able to commit to co-hosting the show this year, but she remains part of the Monty family so we are thrilled that she will be appearing in an exciting surprise role as a special guest in this year’s performance.”

The source promised “all will be revealed very soon” – and as yet we can only guess what role the star will play.
Coleen wanted to highlight the importance of checking your body for signs of cancer after it so devastatingly affected her sisters, with Bernie tragically passing away in 2013 after a battle with breast cancer.
Her other sister Linda has been living with incurable breast cancer since 2017, and Anne was diagnosed in 2020 after originally beating the disease two decades ago.
